2018年，中国改革开放40周年，世界哲学大会首次来到中国。为系统总结、反思、呈现中国改革开放40年道德发展的历史经验与理论成果，推进中国伦理学界与世界的对话交流，江苏省道德发展智库、东南大学道德发展研究院计划于2018年12月1日举办2018“伦理共识与人类道德发展”国际会议，在世界范围内邀请相关领域著名学者进行高端学术对话。此次会议由东南大学道德发展研究院发起，联袂北京大学世界伦理中心、吉林大学哲学基础理论研究中心、华东师范大学中国现代思想文化研究所、中山大学马克思主义哲学与中国现代化研究所共同举办。鉴于您在学术领域的杰出成就和崇高地位，诚邀您参加本次会议并发表学术演讲。
东南大学是中国最著名的“985”和“双一流”重点大学之一，位于六朝古都南京。东南大学伦理学学科是中国第三个二级学科博士点，是中国伦理学研究与人才培养的重镇。东南大学道德发展研究院包含迄今中国唯一的由政府资助建设的“道德发展高端智库”和“公民道德与社会风尚‘2011’协同创新中心”，它们由东南大学牵头，与北京大学、吉林大学、华东师范大学、中山大学的国家重点研究基地深度协同，聚集国内外一流学科与一流学者，实现人文科学、社会科学、自然科学、社会管理的深度整合，思辨研究、实证研究、实验研究三位一体，建设关于当代中国伦理道德发展的最专业，以及面向理论与现实最前沿的学术创新中心、道德国情调查研究中心、决策咨询中心与高层次人才培养中心，为中国乃至人类道德发展做出独特学术贡献。自2007年起，道德发展研究院先后组织了三轮中国道德国情大调查（2007、2013、2017）、四轮江苏道德国情调查（2007、2013、2016、2017），建立了目前中国最大和最系统的伦理道德发展数据库，正在建设改革开放以来中国重大伦理事件信息库，以及现代中国社会的伦理表情图库，即将出版的中国伦理道德发展数据库和研究报告总量达一千多万字。
这是一次全球化背景下关于“道德发展”的高端国际学术论坛和顶级智库峰会，会议将同时进行二十卷左右的《中国伦理道德发展数据库》和《中国伦理道德发展研究报告》的发布，通过呈现改革开放40年来伦理道德发展的中国问题、中国轨迹和中国经验，进行伦理道德发展的国际对话，以“伦理共识”推进“人类道德发展”。

In order to advance dialogue on civilization, form ethical consensus and promote human moral development in the context of globalization, Moral Development Think Tank of Jiangsu Province and Moral Development Institute of Southeast University will hold an International Conference onEthical Consensus and Moral Development on December 1st, 2018. Famous scholars in relevant fields around the world will be invited to this high-level academic dialogue. The conference is initiated by Southeast University Moral Development Institute and jointly sponsored by Peking University World Ethics Institute, Jilin University Center for the Research on Fundamentals of Philosophy, East China Normal University Institute of Chinese Modern Thought and Culture, Sun Yat-sen University Institute of Marxist Philosophy and China’s Modernization. In view of your outstanding achievements in the academic field, we would like to invite you to attend this conference and make an academic speech.
Southeast University, located in Nanjing, Jiangsu, the ancient capital of Six Dynasties, is one of most famous “985” and “Double-First Class” universities in China. The discipline of ethics at Southeast University is the third second-level doctoral degree of this discipline in China. It is an important national center for ethical research and personnel training. Southeast University Moral Development Institute has a “High-level Moral Development Think Tank” and a “2011 Civic Morality and Social Trends Collaborative Innovation Center”, both of which are the only government-funded institutions of its kind in China. These two institutions closely and deeply collaborate with national key research bases of such top universities as Peking University, Jilin University, East China Normal University and Sun Yat-sen University, where first-level disciplines and first-level scholars home and abroad get together. The aim is to facilitate deep integration of humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and social management, to realize trinity of speculative research, empirical research, and experimental research, to build up the most professional, theoretically oriented, and cutting-edge academic innovation center, investigation and research center on moral situation, decision-making and consulting center, and high-level personnel training center for China’s moral development, and finally to make unique academic contributions to moral development of China and the whole mankind. Since 2007, Moral Development Institute has organized three rounds of Moral Situation Investigation in China (2007, 2013, 2017) and four rounds of Moral Situation Investigation in Jiangsu Province (2007, 2013, 2016, 2017), and has established the largest and most systematic database on China’s moral development. It is now building an information base on China’s major ethical events and ethical expression base since the reform and opening up. The forthcoming databases and research reports on China’s moral development will be more than 10 million words in total.
In the context of globalization, this is a high-end international academic forum and summit of top think tanks onMoral Development. In combination with the publication of the 20-volumeDatabase on China’s Moral Development andResearch Report on China’s Moral Development, and by presenting issues, trajectories, and experiences in China’s moral development during the past four decades of reform and opening up, the forum will hold an international dialogue on the development of ethics and morality in the hope to advanceHuman Moral Development throughEthical Consensus.
